Just a few hours ago Online Casino Reviews reported of the unfortunate bouncing of online poker sites Instant eChecks. Among some of the effected websites were FullTiltPoker, Poker Stars, and Absolute Poker/Ultimate Bet.
Thankfully just released information has stated that AbsolutePoker.com’s eChecks system has not been effected according to PokereCheck.com. Many claims were made that Absolute Poker was having these problems, but there was not enough evidence to prove this fact.
Poker Stars is going out of their way to rectify the situation and continue open lines of communication between them and their players. Reports show that other methods of deposit and withdrawal through Poker Stars is working just fine.
Two online sites unaffected are DoylesRoom.com and Bodog. DoylesRoom stopped any payments being made with the eCheck payment system back on May 1st. Bodog, probably the luckiest of them all, has never used the eCheck system, simply because the eCheck processor were only dealing with strictly poker websites.
Sources from the US Attorneys offices in New York stated, “Improper actions lead to this particular eCheck processor being shutdown, therefore any all monies were seized resulting mishaps with Poker Stars and Full Tilt Poker.”
It is imperative that any players receiving any recent checks from online poker websites should contact the issuer for instruction and validation of the check.
