Weeks ago it was announced that online casinos were starting to use American Express as form of payment, but this is in fact not true and may result in negative actions. American Express has made it very clear in the past that they do not want their company to be involved in any type of activity online gaming or land based gaming. If found to be doing so, merchants will be terminated immediately.”
American Express will not be accepted everywhere, but Pay Pal is already in and as it gets closer to legalization, many more companies are going to get involved. Whether they be add campaigns or safer forms of payment transactions, once this goes live, working with the online gaming industry is going to be a multi-billion dollar industry. Perhaps then, American Express may change their mind.
