An announcement today made by Caribbean Gaming and Casino Corp., that they have entered into a joint venture agreement with Tradewinds Broadcasting Corporation. This venture agreement will allow an arrangement of online viewing and betting of Texas Hold’em tournaments and will permit online wagering on the live players themselves.
With these technological capabilities, a stream of real-time feed will be broadcast on the Internet giving people an opportunity to place wagers on outcomes of individual hands, players, and the tournaments. This viewing will not resemble the current broadcasting of poker. There is no time delay or colorful commentary.
Steven Swank, President of Caribbean Gaming and Casino Corp. and owner of the Sosua Bay Grand Casino said, “This is an interactive experience never before seen or heard of. We hope to have this innovative experience up and running by later on this year.”
