Yesterday in London, at the beautiful Millennium Hotel, the 4th Annual Online Bingo Summit kicked off and to much surprise in record numbers. Seems fitting since the growth of online bingo is at an all-time high. The Bingo Summit was advertised as a way for Online Bingo providers to better their business in a number of ways, but it seems Cashcade stole the show.
As there has been much media speculation suggesting that Cashcade and PartyGaming in agreement on a purchasing deal, founder of Cashcade, Simon Collins was quick to speak and put these speculation to rest. He insisted that these were merely talks, although there was great anticipation about the positive negotiations, but any actions resulting from the talks were a while away.
In addition to talks of business sales, later on in the evening was the Bingo Summit Awards. Last year, operators were unaware of the reward ceremonies, but this year seven were given. Only one company made almost a complete sweep, Cashcade, the parent company for Foxy Bingo. Cashcade picked up four of the seven awards, for Best Online Bingo Operator, Best Marketing Campaign, and Best Innovation. The fourth award was for Best New Site which is Cheeky Bingo.
Cashcade may be in negotiations of a sale, but after the recognition they received here at the Online Bingo Summit, the price may have just went up. Congratulations to Cashcade for for their great work in the online bingo industry.
